Private Suites with Views
The lodge has five individually furnished suites with wooden finishes and linens. Each is air-conditioned, has a seating area, and a private enclosed garden with an outdoor bath and shower. The suites overlook the Kuvenyami River or natural bush from a private deck.
Inclusive Meals
Rates include all meals: breakfast, three-course lunch, and three-course dinner. Chef Okkie prepares a variety of dishes, including a braai (barbecue) on some nights. Special diet menus, such as vegetarian, are available. Wine and champagne are served.
Game Drives and Spa
Game drives are included at dawn and dusk in open safari vehicles with a guide and tracker. Guests often see the Big Five. The lodge has an outdoor swimming pool with a view, a spa offering back, foot, full body, and couples massages. Walking tours, cooking classes, and an outdoor fireplace are also available.
Surrounded by Bush
The lodge is set on 9000 hectares within the Karongwe Private Game Reserve, a 45-minute drive from Kruger National Park. It is bordered by the Drakensburg escarpment and located along the Kuvenyami River. The nearest airport is Hoedspruit Aerodrome, 78 km away. An airport shuttle can be arranged.
